Common Territories book chosen for Theoretical Archeology Group Conference exhibition

Common Territories book has been chosen for Theoretical Archeology Group Conference exhibition which takes place at Cardiff University from 18th-20th of December 2017.

The exhibition features contemporary artists who explore space, place and landscape. There is a varied array of visual mediums used in the show. It has opened up an opportunity to reflect on the temporal relationships between image specificity – making process – finite outcome – object/subject tensions.

The Theoretical Archaeology Group (TAG) was founded as a national body in 1979 with the aim of promoting debate and discussion of issues in theoretical archaeology. Its principal activity is the promotion of an annual conference, traditionally held in December and organised so as to be accessible at low cost to research students and others.
